xampp start screen on windows 7

Hi,

When I start early versions of xampp (might be 1.6.), the start screen appears for 5 seconds or more and then disappear suddenly. I installed xampp 1.7.7 and when I start xampp the start screen appears and dont disappear till I stop xampp. I want it like old times, How can I do it?

What do you mean with "start screen"?

This screen doesnt disappear till I stop xampp.

Why don't ypu start the XAMPP components in the xampp-control.exe?
You can start them there and simply click on the Exit button after that. The applications will continue running.
