Hello Guys! I have the following problem. I have installed xampp in windows7 but when I type localhost in my browser, it says:
https:localhost
I mean it works with https, not with http. Can anyone explain me what is the problem and how can I change it?

XAMPP by default uses HTTP not HTTPS.
Try typing
http://localhost/index.php in your browser and see if it diverts to the XAMPP Welcome (Admin) page.

Would you be so kind as to add your full Operating System to your profile as per these instructions and associated information:
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=48626Just Windows tells us nothing.
Thanks.

What page comes up when you type the address I gave you in my other post?
http://localhost/index.phpTry clearing your browser's cache (Temporary Internet Files) and try the address I gave you again.
