intranet won't work from other branches

I have started to create an intranet and got a few pages working at the branch I work at (10.0.30.x) If I try to access it from another branch (10.0.0.0) I get

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /xammp on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What do I need to change

By the way, we have all sorts of other things ( software/drive mappings etc) working across the wan ok

Besides my comment that the XAMPP project advises against using in a production environment...

what was the exact address you used in the browser?
