I'm trying to execute the command tar xvfz /dirname/xampp-linux-1.7.7.tar.gz -C /opt (where dirname stands for the pathname of the file) but I only obtain this:
tar: lampp/RELEASENOTES: funzione "open" non riuscita: Nessun file o directory
tar: Uscita con stato di fallimento in base agli errori precedenti
It's in Italian and I can translate it as:
"tar: lampp/RELEASENOTES: unable to run the open function: no such file or directory
tar: Exit with failure status due to previous errors "
Probably it's an easy issue, but please help me cause I really don't know how to fix it.
