Which host setting?

Postby setman » 18. December 2011 02:51

Hi,

I need to make a database, that Go Daddy will connect to. I have a website that I need to get info to mysql that I have at home.
The problem I have is setting up the data base, under the section that has Host Name... Any host, host table, test field.... I was
trying to find out what I need to put in there? Ip's, or what. All my ports are open, and i made a test mysql at go daddy and it connects

To access your database from a location other than localhost select Any host which will put a % in the adjacent text box.

Remember to use a different user/pass combo for each specific database you create - do not use super user root as this may present security issues.

Best wishes. :)
