Unable to load dynamic library '...php_mssql.dll'

Hi,

I got this error after i installed XAMP and uncomment in php.ini the php_mssql.dll line.

Please let me know what causes the problem.

Which php.ini file did you edit?

Did you restart Apache after editing the correct php.ini file?


Really I have no idea how to help you as XAMPP 1.6.0 is at least 5 years old and much has changed since then.

Perhaps you may consider installing a new version where ths extension may work.

the one under c:\xamp\php.ini and yes i restart the apache.

by the way my XAMPP version is 1.7.4 and there's no php.ini under c:\xamp\apache\bin.
