Apache (XAMPP) not using latest version of edited php file

Postby NoRehearsal » 29. November 2011 05:51

I made a simple change to one of the .php files for a web application I have under development. The only change was a MySql query. I have stopped and restarted apache, cleared my browser cache and tried it and the "old" file is still being executed. Even tried putting in an echo statement indicating it is the NEW FILE, but no echo. Is there some XAMPP cache I am not aware of? Okay, so this morning I tried the same thing on my MB Pro, running Snow Leopard and same versions of XAMPP, etc. and everything worked fine. Problem only seems to exist on MacBook Air with OS/X Lion installed.

Maybe, that depends on the techniques your script uses.
But in most cases this is a Browsercache issue. Have you cleared your Browser cache?

Yes, I cleared the browser cache and history. The exact same code works just fine on my Mac Book Pro with Leopard, same versions of MySQL, XAMPP, etc. Very Weird to say the least.
