apache modules against DDoS attacks

Postby matej148 » 27. November 2011 01:30

Hello,
I would like to ask for good apache (2.3) modules against DDoS attacks. Which are useful and you recommend them? I need to test them and compare them. I heard about mod_security and mod_evasive.
Thank you for your answer.

a) this is the wrong board (german language)

b) there is no DDoS module for Apache, as it is already too late when the requests reach Apache.

Instead you should setup firewalls and ban IPs etc..
