DB from XAMPP to site (Win 7) 1.7.4 [SOLVED]

Postby dekip » 23. November 2011 21:08

I am relative new in all this. I made a database and a table inside it, but i've got problem to import it to a web site. When i go to option import and than browse i don't know which file exectly to import. Do i have to rename it, or to change extension?

And another thing...
Do i have to change setings in my php conection code? If i made it in xammp with username, pass and name, does i have to change anything when i move it on website?

Much more detail required.

Where is the web site located online or in XAMPP?

Did you use phpMyAdmin in XAMPP to export the database?

Are you importing the database using phpMyAdmin?

What was the file extension used to export the database?

Remember we can't see your screen from here.

Of course, n00b like me should read first.

If you want to import a db somewhere, you first have to export it from somewhere. In my case, i miss to export a db from xammp and get .sql file, and then import it on site.

My bad, sorry.
