Apache For Beginners Book?

Postby lizardCat » 12. November 2011 03:42

i read that XAMPP is a " Apache Distribution ".
question:
in order for a person to effectively work with XAMPP would it be advisable for a person to have Apache experience.
like, read a Apache for beginners book.

I would just like to be able to work with XAMPP comfortably.

additional info from the person who posted.
I have self learned HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and some Javascript.

i have also worked with some Bash and am at this time thinking of studying bash for the next 6 to 8 months. I have a copy of unix programming environment by BKRP and would supplement that with up to date Bash books.
In the open source world , i have not found any " solid reliable course of action to take " for a person to build a good understanding of the whole " architecture of a program structure ".

so i just guess, and buy books and work thru them. and build an understanding in pieces and parts.
Thank you
