Display Errors

I am trying to get a Joomla site running locally. Of course this is throwing all kinds of strict standards errors that I don't care to see.

So, I changed

Code: Select all

display_errors = On

to

Code: Select all

display_errors = Off

in c:\xampp\php\php.ini

The problem is that when I do that I immediately start getting this error in my browser:

Error 330 (net::ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED): Unknown error.
