Apache memory leak?

Postby Etdashou » 03. May 2011 16:10

Hello all,

Recently we are having issues with Apache. It seems like he is taking all memory on our server, then suddenly decides to flush the memory and be OK.

We have a graphic to display this behavior.

Is there anything I can do to solve this problem? Sometimes when the memory is low my Wiki bug...
I tried to read the log and I cannot find anything that could help me on this problem.
Can we ask Apache to flush memory more often? Or is there something else I should look into.

Apache version: Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.8g mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.5
running on Windows Server 2003

Higher is better, lower is bad. You can really see the sudden Peak of memory being freed, and I am 100% sure it is from Apache.exe in task manager.

Ok,

But you showed me a FAQ about CPU load to max. But my problem is the memory taken by apache is huge.

Is changing Win32DisableAcceptEx will help my memory problem or is it only cpu related?

Thank you
