Problems with the Mac OS X version of XAMPP, questions, comments, and anything related.

I have just downloaded and installed Xampp on Mac-Mini running 10.5.8.
Apache Server starts but when I try to start MySql I get the following message
Another mysql server is already running!
XAMPP's MySQL can not start while another mysql server is running.
Please turn it off and try again.
I have tried Pabs solution but it has no affect
In the activity monitor it shows 'mysqld' owned by '_mysql' running
Does anyone have the solution to this problem?

It's possible there is another webserver running. Mac OS X comes with a built-in webserver.
