i'm using joomla 1.5.22 for developing a dynamic web site, and i use XAMPP server, my problem is when i write an agregation query this message oppeaar: "#1630 - FUNCTION test.MAX does not exist. Check the 'Function Name Parsing and Resolution' section in the Reference Manual" in //localhost/phpmyadmin/

and i should use MAX in the query .


please can anyone help me !!!!!!

Your problem appears to be a space after the function and before the parenthesis in your sql query.

This blog posts seems to explain it better than I could and gives a solution.

BTW it would have helped and possibly saved some reply time if you had pasted the actual SQL query giving the error so it could have been checked against the error message from phpMyAdmin.

Also did you read the Manual as advised?
