Hi All,
I am using Xampp 1.7.1 as well as before 4 days, at the moment have some problems are crash, httpd.exe usage about 165,000k. it seem make overload and i can't connect to my site. (joomla and moodle was installed in my server).
my server is attacked?
if you have the same problem and have found the solution, please share it for me.

Not sure about this but to start with check your \xampp\webdav folder, it should only have 2 files in it:
index.html
webdav.txt

If you have other files in there then let me know back and I will give you details about how to secure the webdav folder from further attacks.

there two file index and webdav, I am try to look for a solution. now, memory is over 200,000k :( .

See if this FAQ item helps:

Remember to restart Apache if you make any changes in the conf files.

The first indicator for an attack are the informations in your \xampp\apache\logs\access.log file
We don't provide any support via personal channels like PM, email, Skype, TeamViewer!

It's like porn for programmers 8)

Hi Altrea,
Thank you for your help. my access log is very big (over 4G), I have just rename the access log and waiting the new access log file to looking for. I hope I will have find some things to post this thread.

Hi all,
I have just rename access log file that seems sulution the problem is crash apache. But at the moment usage memory is very big (about 250,000k).
Please tell me reduce it.
@altr, Could you tell me how to show attacked identity in access log file.

You have to analyse this access file.
If you let XAMPP listen to internet requests you should be able to read and interpret the log files :shock:

Hi,
please show me how to analyze how aware of the attack.
usage mem is over 400,000k, i have to restart apache. Should I like to upgrade version 1.7.4 xampp?
and how amount size of access file log i have to clean it.
