error 66841

I have an Error Number 66842 on my xampp control panel. I can access the the apache server and the MySQL gui and insert databases. however I can't stop Apache or MySQL from running.

Should I be worried?

when I have searched for a solution I am referred to Ubunto O/S

Can you stop Apache and MySQL by running the appropriate stop bat files in the \xampp\ folder?

You may also like to remove any ticks in the Svc check boxes, answer the question then try and stop and start the components again.

BTW which version of XAMPP and what OS version are you using?

Also can you please detail the whole error message you see and the link to the Ubuntu search reply?
