PECL uploadprogress extension installation on MAC OSX 10.6.6

Hi ,

I am new to MAC and installed XAMPP as a PHP development environment .

My directory structure is /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/..

I want to install PECL uploadprogress extension, for this I gone through thousands of website and run so many commands,but all efforts are in vain.

Can, anyone please help me to configure this setup.

also having the same issue, though i found this site to install/update the xampp to enable PECL installation

I was able to install the uploadprogress but was not able to properly configure it in my php.ini.
