I Develop Filemaker Solution . i want to link one table using mysql . my idea to keep part of the data on mysql.
what i did
Download Xammp
Download mysql Connector
download ODBC manager
I install xammp and Mysql Connector and ODBC manager to Mac (Mac mini, 10.6.6)
secure all the services using terminal (xammp services)
using ODBC manager and mysql connector i made the link with mysql database (i created test database using php myadmin on xammp)
Connection says its Working. i went to Filemaker and try to create link with mysql . its continuous giving me error message. its saying this data base not exists. But i made the databse using phpmyadmin.
i dont know what is the problem.
