I have been searching around the forum and web for some time now on this. I have xampp 1.6.3a and need mcrypt to be working. Is there a step-by-step guide instructions anywhere with the files you need to download?

thanks, but i have actually upgraded to latest xampp to get it working, as I know it does in 1.7.3
