PHP

I downloaded and installed XAMPP on my Windows 7 development PC. How do I preview a page written in PHP? Currently when I preview it what I see is the source code.

look for "short_open_tag" on forum search. Often you'll get an german answer in the german part of this forum. Please use the english part in future (scroll down)

or use "<?php" instead of "<?" to start a php-file

you should put your file in htdocs folder of xampp. the type in your browser: http://localhost/file.php and it should work.

You'll find localhost at c:\xampp\htdocs when you used suggestet standard configuration. (or your config folder)

Above we see your "original question". Can you help me to find "Expression Web" and/or "Dream Weaver" in your original question?!

A propos "blind": can you see the topic of this forum "Xampp auf Deutsch"? Do you know what it means?
