is it possible, to run php like a cgi?

If yes, how?

2) Use Google, there are tons(!) of tutorials, documentations, examples, forum posts etc. pp. about PHP running in cgi-mode

I know, but I'ld do this in xampp (lampp) on debian.
Is it possible?

I need to have php run as separate users for separate websites. With PHP running as CGI with suexec enabled your php scripts now execute under your user/group level.This is the same for other web servers. For example, on lighttpd, make sure the sever document.
