Paragraph Breaks Don’t Show in IE 8

Postby GreenWay » 13. November 2010 10:16

Just getting started with XAMPP Lite 1.7.3.

Have a large TEXT field in a MySQL database. One test record has two paragraphs in this field, entered by using phpMyAdmin. In the phpMyAdmin browse screen, they seem to be two separate paragraphs, as expected.

When PHP passes the field to IE 8, the paragraph breaks are lost and the text is run together as one single large paragraph.

How to preserve the paragraph breaks that appear to exist in the MySQL database, so the field also displays as two paragraphs in IE 8?

Thanks in advance for your help.
