Please help me!

I installed XXAMP today on my machine that is running Windows XP but I cannot seem to access it anywhere from the outside. My friends computers cannot access it nor my phone cannot access it? I have turned my Avast Anti-Virus off, my Windows XP firewall, and it still doesn't seem to work. I'm running behind a wireless Belkin router and I do not know anything about the settings on it.

If you want to access your apache from outside, you have to configure port forwarding for at least your http port (on default port 80).
how you can do this, the manual of your router can tell you, or maybe you want to ask Google.

Basically you need to set up port forwarding for Port 80.

If you have a dynamic IP address, you will probably want to use a Service like DynDNS or No-IP.

If you have a static address, your friends will be able to use the external (WAN) IP of your router.

@Altrea I tried looking it up but sadly nothing is helping me...

I read those articles a little while ago and they don't help since I have a Belkin router... I don't see anything about port forwarding the manual either.

I tried it but it still does not seem to work and that is not the same as my router's interface?


I don't know if I did it right or not but nobody can access it.
