Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS)

Hi:

I've been teaching for 2-3 years PHP/MySQL in a classroom equipped with PCs:
- Win XP Pro, XAMPP (not sure now, 1.5/1.6?), Dreamweaver CS3

Today when I arrived I found the PCs were upgraded to W7 Pro, XAMPP 1.7.3 and a simple exercise with a results page linking to a second page with a form and a "Delete record" server behavior, shows "Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS)" in every browser we tried (Chrome, IE, FF) and a weird explanation about cookies being disabled, wich isn't true

The same code works fine in my laptop: W7 Home Premium, XAMPP 1.7.3, DW CS3
