Please help with shell script

I need to create a script for LAMPP, which will check mysql status and if it's down, restart it. I want to put it in cron tasks.

Am besten schaust Du mal in das lampp Startscript, dort wird ja auch überprüft, ob MySQL schon läuft.

Allerdings frage ich mich nach dem Sinn eines solchen Cronjobs, denn wenn MySQL abgestürzt ist, hat das ja eine Ursache und die sollte man vielleicht erst einmal analysieren, bevor man blind wieder neu startet.
