I installed XAMPP on my netbook which almost never has internet. When I first tried typing
http://localhost/ and
http://127.0.0.1/ into my web browser, I had no problem at all. I got the
XAMPP for Linux 1.7.3a page no problem. But when I disconnected my ethernet cable to go somewhere else and mess with it, I started getting a not found. I thought maybe the process stopped so I re-ran
/opt/lampp/lampp start but that didn't change anything. When I plug my ethernet cable back in I can get the XAMPP page again. I did some Googling which didn't lead me anywhere helpful but I did come accross some guides that indicated that XAMPP should work without an internet connection. Any suggestions?
