xampp lite cd

Hi, i have a question
If i put xampplite for windows on a cd, can this be run on linux or mac os?

My best guess is 'no' - for two reasons'

A. - I'm pretty sure xampp lite is intended for read-writable media (like a USB stick) not read-only media.

B. - I'm also pretty sure the binaries (executables) need a Windows OS environment. (you could probnbly run it on a USB stick with Boot Camp)
