Can't access phpMyAdmin from the internet

Postby rainccm » 27. August 2010 10:18

Hi all,

I am very new to phpMyAdmin, mysql, and apache and I just install xampp 1.7.3. I setup my webpages and database. Everything seems fine. I, however, can't access phpMyAdmin (e.g. http://server_ip/phpMyAdmin) from other computer outsdie from local network.

It says about Access forbidden! New XAMPP security concept:

Access to the requested object is only available from the local network.

This setting can be configured in the file "httpd-xampp.conf".

I already changed #Deny from all in httpd-xampp.conf, but it still doesn't work.

Is there anything else I miss? Please help. Thank you

Question one:
I already changed #Deny from all in httpd-xampp.conf, but it still doesn't work
.

Well - what did you change it to say? (as my Spock Module is down right now)

Question Two:
Did you make any changes to config.inc.php?
