Editing xampp security script

Postby Jamie.k » 31. July 2010 21:34

Hi,

I want to edit the new security script from xampp in file httpd-xampp.conf.
But i have no idea how to do that, I would like that you only can acces phpmyadmin from localhost, and the maps htdocs from everwhere.
How can i do that?

Greetings, Jamie

Well, thats already the default setting.

You can put your own files in htdocs and they will be accessable.
You can put your own files in a subfolder of htdocs, and they will be accessable.

The only folder in your htdocs which is protected with the new security script is the xampp folder (the default index.php file in htdocs redirects to this folder)

I said thats the dafault setting right after the installation.

I don't know anything about your changes.
I don't know anything about your scripts.

You need to give us much much more information to solve this problem.
