Table configuration to show pdf in dreamwvr form?

I am a beginner with databases. I have a datasheet search form in dreamweaver cs4 which pulls from a 'results' database table. Product Number, MSDS, Datasheets are the columns. How do I configure my table as far as type, MIME, browser transf. to show a link on the results page which the end user can click on to view the pdf file?.
