Any bandwith limit in XAMPP ?

Postby greg2fs » 06. June 2010 07:50

Hello, I installed XAMPP on my vps and it seems than bandwidth is limited "per connection", for example if I download a file with firefox from my server it download at 80kB/s but if I use several sections using a download manager, the bandwith is multiplied by the number of sections.

Is it an Apache configuration issue ?

Thanks

VPS stands for 'Virtual Private Server'. These servers are fully configurable but work in a shared environment (VPS server is usually a virtual machine).

@greg2fs:
Issue you are about applies to many servers. I think it's not the Apache problem as these sites have the same problem when using (anonymous) FTP connection.
