Hello!

Could anyone help me, how to install XAMPP into some other directory, not /opt?
Is it possible?

Hi. I've just posted here the beginning of the procedure to move MySQL:

It may help you. Are wanting to do this because you're out of space and you want to host data in another folder, or for some other reason?

It is possible, you can install it anywhere, but finally you have to create a symbolic link from the install directory to /opt/lampp and start it as recommended via

"sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start"
