Error on localhost

Hello friends I need your help!

My localhost was working fine, and still when i type http://localhost/ I'm getting the It works! message, but if I'm typing http://localhost/newrochshim/rochshim.html I'm getting this message:

Server error!
The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your request. Either the server is overloaded or there was an error in a CGI script.
If you think this is a server error, please contact the [url]webmaster[/url].

You might have a problem with a .htaccess directive, try removing the .htaccess file in that folder, if problems goes away -- you know what to fix. That would be a APACHE question.

also look in the Apache error log for a more specific diagnosis.
