Ajax with Apache

Hi,

I am using Vista Home Basic and developing a website on ASP.NET .I am using Apache as the webserver.
I have made all the necessary configuration for the site to work.
My problem is the aspx page loads fine but the ajax extender does not.I have included all the folder(ajax dll ) in the root directory of my website but of no use.
I would really appreciate some guidance here .

Note: I do not receive any error messages just the extenders never appear in the page.
