I am working through a SQL tutorial. I installed XAMPP on my XP machine. The tutorial shows installation of 1.7.0 beta. I installed 1.7.3. their installation showed a wizard. Mine was command line. Now I want to import sql files and use latin 1 character set but in the "File to Import" section, the "OR web server upload directory" selection is missing and the latin 1 character set is missing from the drop down list. Any suggestions?
