32 o 64 bit

I've tried to install xampp 1.7.2 on Ubuntu Server 64bit but i've this message:
XAMPP is currently only available as 32 bit application.... etc

Is it true or i wrong something ?

same as me.
but I try to install and use on Ubuntu Desktop 64 bits. so, now I'm use xampp on Ubuntu 32 bits for my senior project.
