mirror issue?

I was trying to download the Linux 1.7.2 from sourceforge and it would finish but the whole thing it didn't download 62Mb and when I open it in my archive manager I get this error message:

[url]gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Unexpected EOF in archive
tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now[/url]

I have tried the only mirrors that are available in the US but get the same issue. I am wondering if it is something on my end or if there is some issues with sourceforge and their mirrors?

Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated. I just switched over to linux (Ubuntu 9.04) and have used Xampp for a few years in Windows and hope to get it install on my linux install.. Thanks again!

found out it was a wifi issue on my side.... so I got it downloaded and installed.
