Postby tbhacims » 06. September 2009 04:24

Hello
this eAccelerator included in xampp is totally bugged, won't work for me.
i have edited php.ini file (removing comment on load line) and still i get this error ->
( ! ) Fatal error: Call to undefined function eaccelerator_load() in C:\xampp\htdocs\h\index.php on line 2
of course i did restart whole xampp services after editing php.ini file so don't notice it !!!
i'm sure it's a Bug

What version of XAMPP are you referring to?

Where was the php.ini file you edited located?

BTW in the latest XAMPP 1.7.2 version eAccelerator is enabled by default.

Because there is no such function in eAccelerator 0.9.6-rc1.

Hmm, should not be enabled by default.

Correct it is not enabled by default - my partner failed to return the php.ini file back to it's defaults after doing some test on 1.7.2 and when I checked the original php.ini file in the download archive file it was disabled by default.

Now all is back to a vanilla XAMPP 1.7.2 installation ready for testing once again.
