XAMPP on Windows 7 64 bit...

Just a quick question.
I have xampp installed on a USB stick as a portable app.
I can start it up fine on my windows xp pc but when I try to start it up on my windows 7 x64 pc I get an error message saying it cannot access something in kernel32.dll and has this huge long string of random graphics characters.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it running ?
