a question for tar

i have succeed in installing xampp(/opt……),
and i have succeed in tar the xampp(opt.tar.gz),
but when i untar it,an error occurde.
The errors as follows:
/bin/gtar: opt/lampp/lib/terminfo/b:can not mkdir: not file directory
……
/bin/gtar: opt/lampp/lib/terminfo/b/bantam:can not open: not file directory
……
/bin/gtar:delays due to mistakes in front of exit。


who can help me?

it means the process of tar is success.
but when extract the opt.tar.gz occured the error above.

OK, you not trying to extract the original XAMPP archive. Instead you have a problem extracting your own archive (which you have created in some way)?

OK, you not trying to extract the original XAMPP archive. Instead you have a problem extracting your own archive (which you have created in some way)?

i extract the original xampp archive named opt,and later i created the archive by taring opt which i had extracted.
