phpMyAdmin doesn't ask for root password

Postby gandalf458 » 25. August 2009 09:21

I have been running XAMPP with root / no password for a while and decided to give root a password. This has worked with access to my databases but when I try to get into phpMyAdmin from http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ I get access denied - invalid settings.

How do I either get phpMyAdmin to ask for a username and password or give it root's password?

Thanks

Read the file "documentation.txt" or (within a browser) the file "documentation.html".
