Mac OS X - XAMPP - mod_python and mod_rails??

Postby jasonl82 » 10. May 2009 16:13

Hi I'm somewhat new to all of this so please bare with me, I would like to experiment a bit with creating web apps using Python and Ruby on Rails. I like XAMPP very much and would like to install the modules required to use these languages on XAMPP. I'm having a lot of trouble finding any instructions online for installing the required mods to use these languages. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I think you need to install the development package ... it'll have the missing /build directory and other files need to build the modules. You can get it from the OS X download page: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-macosx.html
