Windows 7 help

I'm currently running windows 7 RC on my computer and XAMPP will not run Apache tries to start but never does. is there any way to get it running in windows 7?

also MySQL starts then stops immediately, and Mercury is the only thing that runs when started and does not stop only when I tell it to.

1. XAMPP 1.7.2 runs on Windows 7 RC (I use it).
2. Take a look at Apache logs - they should contain some information why Apache didn't start.

I looked at the logs there was nothing so I tried to run it again, and that did not work. So i decided to re-download it making sure I got the version you had and it still did not work. I had to hit setup to get it to run. after setup was complete it was fine.
