site only working from local computer

Hello, I've searched for this but all I have found is someone mentioning this problem on the end of another thread, which wasn't resolved. What's happening is I can access fine from http://localhost, 127.0.0.1, or 192.168.x.x but the local IP address only works from the computer apache is installed on. I cannot go to a different computer on the network and access the site from there. Any Ideas?

I guess this different computer have also a IP from the range 192.168.x.x (well, the first "x" must be the same number)?
--> configure the firwall on your XAMPP pc correctly.

Sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one. Doh. Thought I had the win firewall off, guess not. Thanks a ton!
