Hi
I put a forum up on my web site and i can't send emails with the mail() function of PHP. How do i get it to work?

You get it to work by coding it correctly. Show us your code you are using.

There are a million web pages that show you how to use mail out of PHP on Linux so Google for one.

I think you want to address your question to the people who made the web-forum that you installed. If the forum runs on XAMPP, than it is not a XAMPP issue that you have. You might also want to ask the hosting ISP about how to mail out of their server.

well the forum has a stmp option so I'll use it with my outgoing email
