Hi there,
I have a little question about the new xampp for windows.
When i display a simple file

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="Text/Html; Charset=UTF-8">
<title>demo</title>
</head>
<body>
家
</body>
</html>
It simply won't show my Japanese characters, while i set Charset equal to UTF-8. I haven't had this problem before, only with xampp. Do i need to change something in the config of apache?
Btw, I also tried changing text-encoding settings in my browser, but that doesn't help...
any help, appreciated!

Dear DawnFading!
Take a look at your httpd.conf file. Around line 795 you find:
AddDefaultCharset ISO-8859-1
Change this setting to UTF-8.
Hope this will fix your problem.
