Do all via FTP client

I want to host my web page on my friends computer (win xp), and he is far awy from me, so i should add/edit/delete all files via FTP. He got newest XAMPP installed. Is it possible?

Hi,

I'm trying to do the same thing. The problem is I can connect to ftp on the same PC, but when I try to connect to the ftp server via another PC on the same LAN, the connection just don't get through.

Any idea where went wrong?
