PHP.ini in XAMPP 1.7.1

I have installed XAMOO 1.7.1 recently and couldn't find the php.ini file in the folder C:\xampp\apache\bin. However, the file is stored in C:\xampp\php. Is this normal or is this a bug in XAMPP 1.7.1? Cause I read that the only correct folder is C:\xampp\apache\bin. Can someone help me?

Not a bug, from XAMPP for Windows version 1.7.1 the php.ini file has been relocated to xampp\php folder from the xampp\apache\bin folder.

For anything php related open this file in your browser:
http://localhost/xampp/phpinfo.php
Look for Loaded Configuration File for the correct location of the php.ini file currently in use.
