changing configurations of PHP

Hello, my first post...

I have web sites that need different configurations of PHP, verion 5.x and version 4.x.

How can I change from one config to another, and is there any xampp that supports the two of them or should I install php4.. (how to do it)

Learn how to use the (dot) .htaccess file for each site. There are lots of tutorial sites for this so google it.

Install XAMPP for Windows 1.6.8 which is the last version that has this ability, using the php_switch.bat file in the xampp folder.

Older XAMPP for Windows version can be found here:

After this 1.6.8 version php4 is no longer included or supported in XAMPP.
