Wordpress doesn't show up

I have configured all the settings I thought I needed to for wordpress to run. I changed the wp-config-sample to wp-config.php, I edited the user/pw/db name. I went into myPHPadmin and created a new user with the credentials I used in wp-config, then created the database "wordpress". I have the folder 'wordpress' in c:\xampp\htdocs and it has everything inside of it. According to the control panel both Apache and MySQL are running.

Yet, when I go to "http://localhost/wordpress" I get:

Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again.
